WWE can be a stressful working environment and sometimes Superstars get a little heated with each other backstage. Sin Cara and Chris Jericho had a backstage confrontation, but that is in the past now.

While speaking with Fightful, Sin Cara opened up about his altercation with Chris Jericho. He downplayed it a bit, calling it a “scuffle.” Jericho is no stranger to standing up for himself as he’s fought with Goldberg and Brock Lesnar backstage as well.

Sin Cara said that there’s no grudge between himself and Le Champion. If anything their little altercations were the result of a long tour grinding away at people.

“Yeah, we were good. It was just a little misunderstanding here and there, a little scuffle. Whatever. Then we spoke on this day. Everything was fine. I have no grudge on it. Nothing happened obviously. On social media things always get out of hand and say, ‘That is not true,’ and things like that. But, like I was saying before, you can get in a fight one day and the next day you’ll be fine. We talked and everything was okay, everything was cool. Sometimes in the middle of a tour, it’s tough because we’re away from home and a lot of emotions are going on and things happen.”

Sin Cara was sent to anger management, but he said that there is no anger issues. “I grew up in the hood in El Segundo Barrio El Paso and Cuidad Juarez, that’s how you get respect, you know?” Standing up for himself was a way of life and engrained in who Sin Cara is.

Any heat he had with Chris Jericho is all water under the bridge. The Million Viewer Man has not publicly spoken about any olive branch.
