Matt Hardy Claps Back at Fans That Think AEW Is ‘Silly & Stupid’

AEW Dynamite made its debut back in 2019 and since then has strived to become a proper alternative to WWE. For the most part, it has succeeded in that but it is not without its fair share of shortcomings that fans have criticized over the years.

The company has many haters who make use of every opportunity possible to take shots at AEW. Recently, a fan took to Twitter and slammed AEW for being “silly and stupid.”

Teleportation, ridiculous promos on drones, morphing, changing clothes ice machines.. it’s silly & stupid.

Matt Hardy saw the fan’s tweet and replied to it, stating that people love AEW as it was the #1 rated show on cable this week. Hardy further added that the company got rid of everything that the fan criticized such as teleportation angles.

“People love @AEW dumbass. #AEWDynamiteWAS THE #1 TV SHOW ON CABLE THIS WEEK! I know you CAnon bootlickers have to follow archaic beliefs & spew these things, which happened over a year ago. AEW is here to stay. Let a friend know via telegram/rotary phone & spread the word!” 

AEW recently held the first-ever Blood & Guts match, which received mixed responses from fans as many fans felt the ending to the match was very underwhelming. Despite that the show certainly performed well. We will have to see how next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will perform.
