The Undertaker is a legend who gave his Final Farewell at Survivor Series last year. He is retired from the ring and the accolades came in huge after he said goodbye, but some don’t think it was enough.

While speaking with ITR Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett was asked about The Undertaker. He went into how he doesn’t believe that the Deadman really gets the credit he deserves for everything he’s done for the pro wrestling business.

“I believe he has an unparalleled career and, yes, he gets a lot of credit – I still don’t think he gets the credit he deserves for what he’s done for the industry. The amount of tickets he’s sold or pay-per-view buy-rates he’s sold, how many other pieces of talent that he has truly “given the rub” – whatever you want to call it, Mark may be the best in-ring businessman that the business has ever had and I sincerely mean that. His business acumen, as far as not only taking care of his character but others as well. I don’t think he has a peer, candidly.”

The Undertaker is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. That day is certainly coming. It happened for Jeff Jarrett, but even Double J would say that Taker deserves more than that. He did blaze a trail for generations after him to follow. Perhaps someday fans will really understand the scope of what The Undertaker did.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
