Cesaro Promises Roman Reigns That He’ll Avenge Daniel Bryan

On last night’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Daniel Bryan faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship with the stipulation that if he lost, Bryan will be barred from Smackdown permanently.

Bryan would lose the match and Cesaro ran down to save him from Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, to no avail. Reigns hit Daniel Bryan with a conchairto while Cesaro helplessly looked on.

Cesaro took to Instagram and paid a tribute to Bryan while also sending a warning to Reigns.

D”Not a good night. Bryan did more for me than people will ever know. I’m not looking forward to walking into the locker room next week and him not being there… I am looking forward to getting my hands on Roman. Und das ist keine Drohung, das ist ein Versprechen.”

The last few words can be roughly translated from German as – “And that’s not a threat, it’s a promise.”

It seems WWE will be booking Cesaro to face off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship eventually. Before that he’ll have to contend with Seth Rollins on next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
