WWE brought fans back for WrestleMania, and they really want to bring fans back as soon as possible. The company realizes how they are missing something from their overall presentation and they are making plans to correct that.

According to PW Insider, WWE intends to “hopefully” start out with “test live events” during the Summer. They are currently in the early planning stages of pulling this off.

WWE hasn’t been able to run a live event since the pandemic started. Once WWE starts live events once again they plan to hit the ground running and not stop. They must take all regions’ rules concerning pandemic protocol into consideration as well.

The company would like to start this by July or August “in a perfect world. They are also paying close attention to how the “waves” of the pandemic have played out internationally.

It’s possible they could do a few test run weekends but as of this writing, no touring dates have been locked in, nor have any buildings been booked yet.

It is reported that the company is “prepping and waiting for the right moment to take the next step forward.” We’re still in a waiting game, but that light at the end of the pandemic tunnel is getting even brighter.
