New X Division Champion Crowned At Impact Wrestling Rebellion

Impact Wrestling presented their Rebellion event tonight and the pay-per-view event started out with a big title change.

TJP defended the X-Division title against Josh Alexander and Ace Austin. That match resulted in a title change.

After a hard-fought twenty-minute match, Josh Alexander nailed a package piledriver and pinned TJP. This is a big title win for The Walking Weapon as Impact Wrestling made him the new face of the X Division.

Alexander remained in Impact Wrestling when Ethen Page’s contract expired. Page went to AEW, but Alexander’s contract with Impact Wrestling still has about a year left. Now Josh Alexander is the new X-Division Champion.
