Mustafa Ali debuted on the main roster as he made the big jump from 205 Live to face Daniel Bryan. There is a backstory behind that, and it involves Bryan wanting to elevate others.

One fan tweeted out a video of that debut for Ali. He expressed a desire to know the whole backstory behind the segment. This was something that Mustafa Ali was happy to oblige.
