Update: WWE has hired John Cone back already. This was confirmed following Mick Foley’s tweet.

Original: WWE made some big changes to Talent Relations recently. Mark Carrano is no longer with the company, and John Cone was removed as well. Mick Foley is speaking out about one of those firings.

Mick Foley sent out a tweet toward WWE to fight for John Cone. He enjoyed working with Cone as Senior Manager of Talent Relations. Cone will remain with WWE as a referee, but his role in talent relations is no longer in place.

Foley really wishes that WWE would rethink this decision to remove Cone from his spot.

Personally, I thought John Cone did a very good job as Senior Manager of Talent Relations for @WWE

I thoroughly enjoyed working with John on many occasions over the past several years.

Maybe the company will rethink that decision.

Mick Foley also tagged Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon at the end of his tweet. It’s unlikely that they will rethink this decision. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Vince McMahon is looking to get new blood in management.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
