The COVID-19 pandemic took over the world a year ago and that includes the world of pro wrestling. Several companies were affected and that includes AEW. The company had to change a lot of plans due to the pandemic and stopped live events entirely. However, now it seems they might be making a return soon.

While speaking on the Grilling JR Podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross discussed AEW going back on the road for live events during the pandemic. Ross stated that AEW is ready to aggressively get back on the road again and have live fans in attendance for their house shows.

“We’re making some changes, we’re adding more content sooner or later with a new show,” Ross said. “We’re getting our schedule together, looks like we’re going back on the road pretty aggressively in the beginning of July and getting back to a live audience is a blessing. I can’t wait, it will help everybody’s work. Just can’t help but feed off the adrenaline of the audience surrounding you.”

We will have to see if the company’s touring schedule will remain intact or change once again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
