WWE and Saudi Arabia have a long partnership that needed to halt while the pandemic raged. Now that things seem to be slowing with COVID-19, it opens up travel possibilities once again.

The company’s jet was seen on an international trip recently. That was the first time it had flown overseas since the pandemic started. Its destination was the Middle East.

According to Wrestle Votes, two company sources have confirmed that a return to Saudi Arabia is incredibly likely by the end of the year. That could see WWE get back to Saudi Arabia sooner than some thought.

Two WWE sources indicate that an event in Saudi Arabia prior to the end of 2021 is very much on the table.

WWE hasn’t been able to open up live touring in the United States yet. There is obviously a hope that will happen soon, and the company has no plans to stop once they start again.

Perhaps a Saudi Arabia event will be safer than traveling within the United States considering how the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been able to control the spread of COVID-19 compared to the USA.
