Batista wrestled his final match against Triple H and he has no intentions of making a return to the ring. He doesn’t even want to get that rumor started.

While speaking at Justice Con, Batista was asked about his in-ring status. He jumped ahead of the rumor mill and made it crystal clear that he has no intention to make a return to the squared circle. He has a lot of things in the pipeline, but a return to WWE is not one of them.

“Don’t put that out there, people will jump all over that [laughs]. ‘He’s coming out of retirement!’ No, I’m not. It’s so hard to convince people that I’m actually retired. You have no idea how tough that discussion is. When a professional wrestler retires, they don’t really retire, they kind of retire. If the paycheck or event is big enough, they’ll come out of retirement. It’s just not that way with me. I exited the business in such a storybook way, I could never go back. I’m just done. I got to finish on my own terms and nothing is going to bring me back and take away from that.”

Batista was pulled from the WWE Hall of Fame, but he might appear during a ceremony where they can have live fans present. That seems to be the most participation Dave Bautista is going to have with WWE since an in-ring return is off the table.
