AEW is recording a lot of content right now and they have a couple of reasons for doing so. Many of their stars haven’t experienced a lot of television exposure. The more time they can get in the ring, the better. They have another good reason for recording so much material.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW will be able to start their own streaming service eventually. They can use the content that they have been filming since the company started. The more preferred route would be to get another streaming service to pay for hosting privileges.

The number of hours over the course of years will enable them to either set up their own streaming service, or better yet, be like WWE and get a major streaming company looking at spending heavy for content and them having enough hours, to lease it out for enough money that it will become a major stable revenue stream.

AEW could find themselves fielding offers from streaming services in a matter of time. We’ll have to see what the future holds, but there are also a number of fans who would certainly pay for an AEW streaming service at this point.
