AEW Dynamite brought the first episode without WWE NXT competition on the other channel. They brought a taped show, but Mike Tyson was also featured. How did the viewership turn out?

Showbuzz Daily reports that AEW Dynamite brought in 1.219 million overnight viewers. They also captured a .44 in the 18-49 demographic. That is an incredible jump from last week.

Last week, AEW Dynamite pulled in 688,000 viewers and NXT brought in 768,000 viewers for night one of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. That was the final weekly head-to-head for the two shows. AEW Dynamite still won in the coveted 18-49 demographic. They scored a .28 to WWE NXT’s .22.

AEW Dynamite brought in 700,000 viewers the week prior to that with a .26 in the coveted demographic. The week before that, Dynamite brought in 757,000 viewers.
