Finn Balor lost the NXT Title to Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. That was a hard loss for Balor to take, but it doesn’t appear that he will leave the black and gold brand because of it.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if WWE has any plans to move Finn Balor up to the main roster following his NXT Title loss. That doesn’t seem to be the plan at all.

It was said that there are no plans right now that have been talked about. At this point it seems that WWE is going to keep Balor in NXT. The big question is how he will be used. Karrion Kross very well could continue feuding with him, but it doesn’t appear that Balor is going anywhere.

Finn Balor’s time on the main roster started off strong as he won the Universal Title, becoming the first to hold that title. Then he was injured during that match and had to recover from a shoulder injury. He stuck around the main roster for a little while until Bray Wyatt’s Fiend debuted and wrote him off the main roster. Then he showed up in NXT where he has been a staple of the brand since.
