WrestleMania is bringing fans to Tampa and the pro wrestling world is also setting up a few indie shows around the area. This is a tradition, but the lower number of fans might be causing an issue for at least one indie event.

AJ Gray sent out two tweets for fans to let them know that the ticket sales for his For The Culture event with GCW are not selling well. He asked fans to buy tickets and admitted that it’s disheartening enough that he might let someone else run the show next time around.

Can people actually buy tickets to my show…. cause for some reason no one ever wants to, even though somehow I think of really wild matches you couldn’t think of on fire pro.

Like tbh, it’s mad disheartening and I honestly will let someone else run it next time. It makes no sense but whatever.

One fan tweeted back and tried to be positive about the situation while saying, “If you’re talking FTC, it’s constantly been one of the best shows of every GCW weekend it’s on. I can see how it could be challenging, but you’re doing great. Don’t get down”

Gray responded to say, “I get ticket sale numbers… it’s not great. I don’t talk in hypotheticals…. this is a fact no one is buying any tickets.”

Hopefully, fans will buy more tickets for the For The Culture event and everything else going on around WrestleMania weekend. This year’s event is a bit different due to the current circumstances in the world and that might hinder some from buying tickets for extra shows even if they’ll be in the area.

The For The Culture event will take place on April 8th at Tampa’s Cuban Club. The show will start just before midnight. You can find more information below.
