MJF Teases WarGames Type Match For The Pinnacle

MJF’s new stable of heels seems perfect for a WarGames match. WWE owns that copyright, but AEW has a Blood & Guts match idea that they never got to use.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, MJF teased the idea of an old-school WarGames match with his stable. He said it would be incredible to see. He also has an obvious set of opponents in mind.

“Those old-school WarGames matches, they are absolutely incredible spectacles. If Inner Circle-the Pinnacle does happen, it would be the best version ever of that.”

AEW had plans to hold a Blood & Guts match just as the pandemic started. That was nixed due to the state of the world at the time. As the pandemic slows down, the possibility does seem to be out there that The Pinnacle and Inner Circle will be able to throw down in that match concept.
