Anthony Bowens, one half of The Acclaimed, was was going with plenty of momentum with tag team partner Max Caster, but then an injury sidelined him.

We previously reported that Bowens is out of action with a knee injury. Now PW Insider has confirmed that his surgery has already taken place and he will be out of action for six to eight weeks.

Bowens has already undergone surgery and the hope is he’ll be back in about 6-8 weeks.

We’re wishing Anthony Bowens the best as he makes his way back to the ring. Eight weeks is far better recovery time than other knee injuries. Then The Acclaimed can get back to business as they continue chasing the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
