John Cena’s Instagram account is a rather interesting place on the internet. It is full of obscure, random photos with no captions to explain anything. That recently caused an issue because Instagram’s cropping took out a watermark.

Cena’s account uploaded a photo of R-Truth as the Peacemaker. It was a great mash-up since Cena is Truth’s childhood hero.

Abdulmalik, the artist responsible for the image, commented on John Cena’s Instagram post and called out the 16x Champion for using his photo without crediting him. The post received a few likes, enough for Cena to notice.

“Umm can you credit me since you cropped my logo”

A short time later, Cena’s Instagram account simply displayed “Abdulmalik” in bold letters. That was the logo Abdulmalik was talking about. Cena didn’t cut it out on purpose, but the logo was on the bottom of the image which was cropped by Instagram. A few fans were really confused by this random post. It looks like Cena found a way to make sure Abdulmalik’s got credit.
