Jim Ross Calls Kenny Omega ‘WWE Champion’ During AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega is the AEW World Champion. Jim Ross might need to write that into his notes.

During Dynamite this week, Jim Ross was trying to toss to a backstage segment with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. Instead of saying AEW, Good ‘ole JR said “WWE Champion Kenny Omega.”

This is a pretty big slip-up. Jim Ross has made some faux pas on commentary before, but he hasn’t namedropped WWE in this blatant manner before. You can check out the clip below to hear it for yourself.
