AEW Dynamite is on TNT which comes with their share of representatives from the network. The company wants to make those people from TNT happy, and that meant one match needed to be heavily edited on Dynamite last week.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that AEW had to edit The Good Brothers’ match on Dynamite in a big way. They were making too many jokes about jacking off and marijuana, two subjects that are favorites for both of them.

“That match last week on Dynamite with the Young Bucks and Gallows and Anderson against the Dark Order. That was the most edited match in the history of AEW, not because they botched moves, but because Gallows and Anderson kept doing jacking off stuff and pot stuff and stuff like that. They had to edit all those references off television, so that was a little secret about last Wednesday’s show.”

The Good Brothers have their own brand of humor, but it doesn’t really fall in line with the censors. AEW also had to edit out marijuana jokes when the Inner Circle visited Las Vegas. We’re not sure exactly what needed to be cut, but it was apparently too hot for TV.
