Booker T Takes Shot At Goldberg – 'It's A Young Man's Game'

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg returned on RAW Legends Night and challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. This decision was met with a lot of negative backlash from fans and wrestlers alike. This includes WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T, who gave his thoughts on the current feud between Goldberg and Drew McIntyre on WWE’s The Bump.

During the podcast, Booker T said that Goldberg is ‘pushing it’ and that pro wrestling is a ‘young man’s game.’ Booker T revealed that he is on Drew McIntyre’s side.

”You know, Goldberg is pushing it, man. Everybody loves the nostalgia, but this is a young man’s game. Drew McIntyre, he’s my guy. I said before that Drew McIntyre is going to be the champion in this business. I always pushed him over to the side and whispered in his ear, ‘Hey, man, do this. Change that. You’re on the right track.’”

Booker T then praised McIntyre, noting how much he has grown as a competitor. Booker T noted that he won’t be going for ‘the old guy’ and predicted that Drew McIntyre will win the match at the Royal Rumble.

“And now, you go back to when he first came in to where and how he looks now. He’s a grown man now. He came in as a kid. Goldberg could be barking up the wrong tree. I’m not going for the old guy. Once you get past that number, bruh, you might want to rethink things. So, we’re gonna see how this plays out. But if I had money, I’d put my money on Drew McIntyre. It’s going to be quick.”

Drew McIntyre and Booker T are scheduled to have a face-to-face on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
