Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon wasn’t at WWE’s tapings on Friday. That included the Superstar Spectacle. Triple H was in charge of the tapings, and Superstar Spectacle was done by “very much the same team” as NXT and NXT UK according to PW Insider.

We are told that while the show is produced out of the ThunderDome, Triple H was in charge of the production and it was very much the same team that works on NXT and NXT UK overseeing the Superstar Spectacle.

The Superstar Spectacle will air on January 26th, Republic Day in India. We will have to see how the finished product turns out, but this might be the first of many international specials in the company’s future.
