AEW has a lot of fans all over the world. Danielle Fishel used to follow NXT, because she’s a big fan of PWG, but now she has a new company to watch on television. The Boy Meets World star now prefers AEW over WWE.

While speaking to Wrestling With Will, Danielle Fishel Karp talked about her love of pro wrestling. She and her husband Jenson Karp follow PWG and love that California based company. She then admitted that were she used to follow here favorites to NXT, now they’re going to AEW.

“In 2017 and 2018, when we’d get word that somebody was moving up from PWG into NXT, and now AEW, I would then pay attention to where they went and what they were doing there. I’m a much bigger fan of AEW than I am currently of WWE. I think the things that AEW is doing are more interesting. I just find the relationships and the storylines and the characters to be more engaging.”

Topanga and her real-life husband will be presenters during the AEW Dynamite Awards. She said that is going to be a great experience for her that she can’t wait to take part in.

“I was very honored that they asked [Jensen and I] to do that. We’re presenting Breakout Male and Female… You know what’s funny? I don’t know the winners. They gave us the cards and all of the names were on the cards and we had to do it one by one as if they all won. So they’re taking it very seriously. I honestly do not know who won.”

Danielle Fishel has been around AEW events in the past, but that is obviously rare during a pandemic. Hopefully, she will be able to see AEW in a packed arena soon along with many other pro wrestling fans who can’t wait for those days to return as well.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
