Adam Pearce Sends Warning To Roman Reigns Ahead Of WWE Smackdown

Adam Pearce became the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship after he shockingly won the gauntlet match on the previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

As seen on last week’s Smackdown, the final two participants of the gauntlet match were Shinsuke Nakamura and Adam Pearce. It looked as if Nakamura had it won, but then Roman Reigns and Jey Uso interfered in the match and decimated Nakamura, allowing Pearce to pick up the shocking win.

Ahead of this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Adam Pearce took to Twitter and warned Roman Reigns of what is to come.

In the tweet, Pearce suggested that Reigns woke up “a sleeping giant” and filled him with a terrible resolve by forcing Pearce to step inside the squared circle again.

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

Pearce is scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

We will have to see what transpires on this week’s episode of Smackdown.
