Matthew McConaughey is one of the top stars in all of Hollywood. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including an Oscar for his role in the 2013 movie Dallas Buyers Club.
It seems the actor had an interest in the world of professional wrestling. While speaking to WWE celebrity guest host Maria Menounous, pro wrestling was mentioned as a topic during the conversation.
McConaughey revealed that he was interested in having a role in pro wrestling, but did not disclose any more details regarding the matter.
“I’ll say… not too much because as you know, you can’t say too much about these things, but it is, uh, it is something that does interests me….”
To this, Maria Menounos said: “Yeah he wants to pull out a Boston Crab so bad I can feel it!”, to which the actor gave a laugh that implied he might have been hiding something.
Celebrities being involved in pro wrestling is certainly not a new thing, as the likes of David Arquette have done it before.
