WWE is bringing a Superstar Spectacle to the WWE Network on January 26th, Republic Day in India. The show will air at 8:00 PM local time in India, 9:30 AM EST, and now we have new details.

According to PW Insider, there were plans to tape the Superstar Spectacle across multiple days and then cut the footage together to form one special. As of this writing, those plans have changed and the event is expected to be live.

The current plan is for the special to be an 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours long. They will air both the English and Hindi language versions of the show on Sony TEN 1 and Sony TEN 3 in India. The show will also air on the WWE Network.

Local advertising on Sony is built around WWE’s Indian stars, including Jinder Mahal, NXT recruit Kavita Devi and tag teams Indus Sher and The Bollywood Boys.  The show will feature a number of NXT trainees from India as well.

We will have to see how the Superstar Spectacle is received. A lot of fans are excited to see what they are able to do. As of this writing, there are no concrete plans reported for the future of this series.
