WWE announced that Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19. He was able to record an announcement for fans which they played during the show tonight.

Drew McIntyre recorded a very short video which they aired on Raw this week. He admitted to testing positive for COVID-19, and then he said that he’s one of the lucky ones with no symptoms before cautioning that “COVID should not be taken lightly.”

The WWE Champion urged everyone to take COVID-19 seriously. He said “if it can happen to me, it can happen to you.” He encouraged everyone to wear their mask and observe social distancing.

Drew McIntyre made no mention of Goldberg. He wished everyone the best and promised that he will be back very soon.

This video was played right before Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans’ match after the first commercial break of the night.
