Joey Ryan filed several lawsuits after he lost a ton of work following allegations related to the #SpeakingOut movement. Several people came forward with allegations and he soon started filing lawsuits against some of them.

Ryan filed one lawsuit against former ROH wrestler Pelle Primeau. This was a defamation lawsuit which asked for $10 million. According to PW Insider, that lawsuit has now been thrown out.

The lawsuit was reportedly thrown out on January 4th by the United States District Court, Central District of California. Pelle Primeau’s attorney was able to successfully argue that the lawsuit was filed in the wrong venue, which should have been his home state of Pennsylvania.

The lawsuit has been transferred to the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania as of 1/5, but no additional movement has taken place, as of this writing.
