This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was the Legends Night special. After the main event WWE Title match concluded, WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg made his return and challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble.

Goldberg suddenly being inserted into the WWE Title picture has not been well received by fans as many felt the storyline was illogical. It seems Vince Russo also thinks the same.

Vince Russo spoke on Legion of RAW, where he mentioned the huge flaws in the segment between Drew McIntyre and Goldberg. In his promo, Goldberg said that Drew McIntyre disrespected WWE Legends. However, there was no instance of McIntyre disrespecting any legend on RAW this week.

“Here comes Goldberg and again, Goldberg is the new go-to guy. Then Chris, I’m watching this and I’m like, I hate to say this again and I want to clarify myself again. It’s not like who’s the babyface and who is the heel. It’s like, who am I supposed to like and who to dislike in his exchange. Goldberg is accusing Drew of disrespecting the legends. Did I miss that part of the show? All of a sudden, Drew is disrespecting the legends and then Drew disrespects Goldberg.”

Russo then added that WWE has done a subpar job in making fans care enough about Drew McIntyre, which will negatively affect their eventual Royal Rumble title match.

“How are we supposed to care about Goldberg and Drew McIntyre when you haven’t made us care about Drew McIntyre? You’ve done nothing to make us care about this guy. Now we are going to care about this match?”

We will have to see how WWE will be booking Goldberg and Drew McIntyre’s feud.
