Marty Scurll was in a top position in ROH. He was head of their booking committee, and he was also a top star. Then allegations came out about him during the #SpeakingOut Movement that saw him disappear.
An internal investigation was launched within Sinclair Broadcasting. Those investigations are historically very slow. It is unclear if there was an ultimate outcome in that investigation.
ROH made the announcement on Monday, January 4th that Marty Scurll is no longer with the company. This was noted as a mutual parting of ways.
Marty Scurll and Ring of Honor have mutually decided to part ways.
We will have to see where Marty Scurll ends up. He is coming off of a very controversial situation, and it’s unclear if there is any interest from other companies at this time.
