Shaquille O’Neal’s last pro wrestling appearance saw him get screen time on AEW Dynamite. We will have to see where that leads everyone involved. Brandi Rhodes, who was heavily involved in that angle is now pregnant and it’s unlikely that she will be able to get too involved. The story is not closed for Shaq and AEW, but Big Show would also love to see the NBA Hall of Famer in WWE.

While speaking to WWE UK, Big Show revealed that he is still 100% game to face Shaq. WrestleMania would offer a perfect scenario for that contest to go down. He also compared Shaquille O’Neal to “one of those stones” that is still in his shoe.

“Let’s see… in a perfect scenario at WrestleMania it would be Big Show vs Shaquille O’Neal. That would be a perfect scenario; because we never got to make that match happen. That is one of those stones I would like to get out of my shoe and settle that; who is the best big man of all time? Period.”

WWE reportedly didn’t think that Shaq was serious enough about wrestling. The deal fell apart after that. This is not the end of Shaquille O’Neal’s time with a pro wrestling company, but he’s now in a place that makes a match against Big Show even harder to pull off.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
