Due to the COVID-19 pandemic taking over the world, WWE was forced to make several changes to WrestleMania 36 last year. The event ultimately took place at an empty Performance Center in Orlando, Florida

It seems John Cena Sr. has an interesting idea about what Vince McMahon should do regarding WrestleMania 37 this year. Cena Sr. recently spoke to Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirad.

During the interview, John Cena Sr. gave the suggestion that WrestleMania 37 should be postponed. According to Cena Sr. the Show of Shows should be taking place in July or August of this year, instead of April.

I don’t see why and I have no idea why Vince is set on April. I have no idea why and as a former business person I would venture to move it into July or August. Why not? Just think of what would happen. It doesn’t mean it’s gonna be every year, but finally we have WrestleMania with all the people there with the crowd.”

Cena Sr. then added that his opinion depends on the number of active COVID-19 cases reducing significantly before Summer.

For now, WrestleMania 37 is expected to take place on March 28 of this year.
