Intergender wrestling has become a more accepted concept during recent years, especially in the indie circuit. It was also a huge thing in Impact Wrestling earlier in the year as Tessa Blanchard won the Impact World Title against Sami Callihan.

However, quite a few are still against the idea of men wrestling women. It seems WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross is one of them.

Jim Ross recently spoke on his Grilling JR podcast, where he discussed Chyna’s career in WWE. Chyna frequently faced off against men during her time in the company.

Ross admitted that he wasn’t a fan of intergender wrestling during the 90s and his opinion hasn’t changed at all since then.

“I’m maybe too set in my ways too. I’ll admit that, I’m trying to be honest but I’ve never been able to get over that hump. “I know that’s gonna piss off Tessa Blanchard fans and other fans. It’s no disrespect to any of those women. I don’t think men should wrestle women either.”

Ross also mentioned that he disliked the fact that Chyna won the WWE Intercontinental Title, which was always held by men.
