USA Network Wants Darker Content On RAW After Record-Low Viewership

WWE RAW brought a record-low viewership this week for their entire three-hour program. A change needs to be made, and USA Network is reportedly calling for one.

Alex McCarthy of TalkSport reports that the USA Network is livid about the low ratings that RAW garnered this week. They are also pulling for a change of content.

The USA Network is apparently pulling for “dark” content. Not sexy, but violent and edgy in that regard.

“USA Network are furious. They want more adult content. Not sexy adult, but dark and violent adult,.”

It was also noted how the company is counting on a “reset” once the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view rolls around.

This is a very interesting situation, and WWE has some obvious decisions that they need to make. Their content obviously isn’t clicking with the target demographic, but it seems that they are having trouble connecting with many fans at this rate.
