According to Bodyslam.net, Penta was injured prior to that match on AEW Dynamite. He was taken to the back because he did sustain an injury to his leg.

He actually suffered a leg injury a few weeks ago while training. The spot through the timekeeper’s table was used as a way to take him out of action while he recovers.

It wasn’t specified how long Penta El Zero M will be out of action. This is terrible timing as PAC’s return meant a reunion of the Death Triangle.
