WWE has a lot of things going right now, Roman Reigns needs a challenger for the Universal Title at TLC. The problem is that there aren’t many people ready to step up and face the Tribal Chief on the SmackDown brand.

Daniel Bryan is in the top spot to face Roman Reigns at TLC, but WWE hasn’t confirmed that match yet. As of this writing, it is still an idea for TLC, but nothing is locked down on the lineup.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that WWE has considered pushing Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January. This would certainly give that match a bigger stage.

As of right now, Reigns vs Bryan is tentatively scheduled for TLC, but they have not made a full decision. This is likely to get locked down in the next few days, but they still have time until the December 20th TLC pay-per-view if they want to go a few weeks without making Roman Reigns’ next challenger official.
