Jade Cargill made a lot of noise when she first showed up in AEW, and that attention isn’t slowing down. She entered pro wrestling from the fitness modeling and bodybuilding world and she could owe it all to Chyna.

Cargill’s hard work is unavoidable, but if it wasn’t for people like the Ninth Wonder Of The World, she wouldn’t have had a valuable role model to help her along in her early life. While speaking to AEW Unrestricted, Jade Cargill revealed how much of an influence Chyna was for her early in life.

“Growing up I’ve always been muscular and I used to always get picked on by guys saying, ‘Oh she looks like a man. She’s too muscular.’ And I remember growing up and watching Chyna and seeing how she just embodied, just loved how she looked, and it just did nothing but empower me and make me say, ‘You know what? I look good. These muscles look great!'”

Jade Cargill attacked Brandi Rhodes backstage on Dynamite this week as she continued her quest to solidify a place in All Elite Wrestling. She’s only getting started.

Chyna sadly passed away far too soon, so Cargill will never get a chance to tell her just how much of an inspiration she was. That won’t stop her legacy from continuing through Cargill and every other person that Chyna inspired throughout her life.
