Fenix suffered a possible injury during his hard-hitting match against his brother Penta this week on AEW Dynamite. Since Fenix won the match he is slated to face Kenny Omega next week on Dynamite, but AEW is taping Dynamite far sooner than that.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez brought up the point that Fenix might not be able to wrestle on Dynamite next week. It’s unknow if they plan to record his match against Kenny Omega today or tomorrow, but either day might be too soon.

Fenix is famous for wrestling through pain, but AEW can’t take chances if he suffered a neck injury or concussion. It is unknown what his actual diagnosis is at the time of this writing.
