KUSHIDA Turns Heel At WWE NXT TakeOver: 31

NXT TakeOver: 31 included Velveteen Dream vs KUSHIDA. This contest was a close match with KUSHIDA winning via submission. Then he decided to solidify his more aggressive demeanor.

Following his submission victory, KUSHIDA turned back toward Velveteen Dream. He destroyed Dream after the match and they really put this aggressive change over on commentary. This appeared to be a full heel turn as he wouldn’t let up from his assault.

We’ll have to see where this leads KUSHIDA from this point on. He experienced a slower start than some anticipated after coming over to NXT from NJPW. This new turn toward the dark side might give KUSHIDA that little extra little bit to really put him on another level in NXT.
