Nikki Cross Might Miss WWE Clash Of Champions

Nikki Cross has a big opportunity at Clash Of Champions, but she might not be able to attend the event. Cross is slated to get a shot at Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Title, but the former SaNITy member’s absence on SmackDown put things in doubt.

We are not clear why Nikki Cross wasn’t on SmackDown this week. Her missing the show isn’t a good sign. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that he asked if Nikki Cross would be at Clash Of Champions and at this point nobody from the company is talking about it.

“If she’s there, she’s there. I asked this morning [on Saturday] if she was going to be there, and nobody got back to me, which is your answer.”

WWE might have to figure out an alternative, or work this into the storyline so Nikki Cross skipping this big match will make sense. Hopefully, there isn’t anything terribly wrong going on in this situation and everything works itself out.
