Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax Become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions At Payback

WWE Payback was a night full of surprising moments. A lot of people were very confused as to why WWE changed the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match, but it resulted in a title change.

Sasha Banks and Bayley put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line at Payback. They faced the mismatched team of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. This was quite a test for The Golden Role Models.

After a back and forth match, Bayley and Sasha Banks found themselves trapped in two different submission holds from Shayna Baszler at the same time. They put forth a considerable amount of struggling, but Bayley tapped out.

Bayley is still SmackDown Women’s Champion, but Sasha Banks is no longer a champion in WWE. This seems to be pointing toward another split for those two long-time best friends.
