Mauro Ranallo WWE NXT TakeOver: XXX Replacement Likely Last Minute Decision

Mauro Ranallo was not at NXT TakeOver: XXX as he was scheduled. He was replaced by Corey Graves who joined Vic Joseph and Beth Phoenix on commentary. We’re not sure what’s going on with Mauro.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Mauro Ranallo being replaced as a part of the NXT TakeOver: XXX announce team. This was an interesting decision because of who they got to replace him.

Meltzer noted that “since it was Corey Graves, it feels like a last minute thing.” It wasn’t reported why Mauro Ranallo was absent, but they had to carry on the show without him.
