WWE will tape television next week. The plan is to get two episode of Raw done on Monday, and then Friday Night SmackDown will follow on Tuesday. This is a very tedious process, especially for writers.

This has been one of the hardest weeks in recent memory for the WWE writing staff. Ringside News has learned that some have compared the workload to WrestleMania.

A writer with knowledge of the situation said that Vince McMahon’s meeting on Friday “was horrible.” It was 4 hours of McMahon hating everything for Raw. Out of 32 segments pitched to him, Mr. McMahon only approved 4 segments.

Now they are going back to the drawing board. It was additionally told to us that “the lack of leadership is causing the least creative environment you can possibly imagine.”

Now WWE’s writers are scrambling once again to get scripts done in time for Vince McMahon to either approve, or tear up forcing them to start from scratch.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
