Peyton Royce Reveals Why Shawn Spears Told Her They Wouldn’t Work During Their First Date

Shawn Spears and Peyton Royce are married, but they were together prior to his WWE exit. He was still “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger when the couple went on their first date, but he said something that almost ended things prematurely.

Spears and Royce have a lot of fun at home. They kept each other entertained during the pandemic and Peyton’s TikTok featured lot of their antics. He even busted her while recording one of her dance videos.

During a recent Instagram Q&A, Peyton Royce revealed something that Shawn Spears said to her on their first date that surprised her: “I’m not the one for you.” She obviously didn’t take this statement seriously as Peyton Royce was then set to prove him wrong.

“He said to me that he’s not going to be the one for me, and I thought, ‘challenge accepted, mate!’ Look who won that.”

“Also, I’m going to add that he thought that because he thought because I was young and I had a lot of drinking and partying and experimental crap to do and he just didn’t know yet that all that stuff is not me so yeah, now he knows!”

Peyton Royce also revealed that she accidentally forgot their anniversary recently. Royce might not be about the partying lifestyle, but she’s also apparently not very good at remembering important dates.
