Renee Young and Jon Moxley took their own independent coronavirus tests at home apart form their respective pro wrestling companies. Moxley came back negative, but Young has COVID-19.

It was noted that Moxley is testing multiple times this week to make sure that he’s still clear. They are not separated entirely, but Moxley and Young are staying in separate parts of their house.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also noted something very interesting and concerning about the whole situation. WWE executives like Kevin Dunn, Vince McMahon, or even Triple H forgot to call Renee Young to check on her.

It’s also notable that neither Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Paul Levesque or Mark Carrano contacted her as of 6/25 to ask how she was doing, although a lot of talent did.

Renee Young did send a thanks out to everyone who checked up on her. She didn’t tag Vince or Triple H.

Young’s condition has improved and as of June 25th she was “tired and her chest felt heavy,” but those were the only real issues. The belief is that Renee Young will make a recover and she’s already over the worst part.

The novel coronavirus is different for everyone. Thankfully Renee Young got lucky, or as lucky as you can be in this instance.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
