AEW continued through the pandemic producing Dynamite every week. Some fans thought the company could have taken a hiatus, but that might not be possible.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez discussed the current pandemic situation. He stated AEW must continue to produce television content. Apparently, it is part of their contract that if they don’t produce new content then they are done.

“The impression that I have been given is that if AEW is not producing new content their television contract will be cancelled. Without that contract they’re done, they’re finished.”

If AEW closes down everyone in that company will be out of work during a pandemic with very few options. They obviously don’t want that to happen.

AEW was having a great 2020 until COVID-19 swept the nation. Hopefully, they will be able to continue producing their weekly show. We don’t want to find out what happens if they miss a week.
