AEW already had to pull the Natural Nightmares from their match against FTR this week. There was concern that QT Marshall was exposed to coronavirus. Now AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has been pulled from the show as well.

Tony Khan released a statement to fans informing them that Moxley has been pulled from tonight’s show. He was set to wrestle, but his opponent wasn’t revealed.

Moxley had contact with someone who contacted someone with COVID-19 since the last tapings. He warned AEW about it and now their doctor has requested that he stay away from the taping.

Recently @JonMoxley had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19. Mox did the right thing & warned us. Doc asked him to stay home & get tested to protect us here at our test site. Cage will be in action tonight on #AEWDynamite ahead of their title fight

Hopefully, this situation works itself out and Moxley is 100% healthy and negative for coronavirus. This still begs the question about what Renee Young’s status is. She might be the one who had contact with someone with COVID-19. WWE discovered a positive coronavirus test last week. Moxley and Young are still married despite working for different companies.

We can only hope for the best as the world continues adapting to a new normal.
