In the final chapter of Undertaker: The Last Ride, The Undertaker told fans that this time around, he might really be retiring from WWE for good.

However, while speaking with Sports Illustrated, The Undertaker left a few hints that might have us believe otherwise. Taker said that wrestling has become physically challenging for him and while his mind wants him to stay, his body is saying otherwise.

The Phenom said that even the limited schedule is a challenge for him and that he has children that he has to think about. However, Taker said that if his name comes up on a match card, his goal will always be to steal the show.

The Deadman said that ultimately, the decision to hang up his boots will be his.

Physically, it’s becoming harder and harder to do what I do. My mind is saying yes, but my body is saying, ‘Slow your roll.’ There’s got to be a time where I step aside. It’s a lot on my body to work even the limited schedule that I do. I still have young children, I need to think about them, too.

I can’t do the things I used to do. But if my name is on the card, my goal is to try to go out and steal the show. I can’t go out and perform half-ass. Otherwise, I’m cheating somebody. Ultimately, I will be the one to make that decision.

It looks like Taker has not made the decision to retire just yet. We might not see The Undertaker in a squared circle again, but with the popularization of cinematic matches, The Demon of The Death Valley could still have a few butts to kick.
