Paul Heyman is no long Executive Director of WWE RAW. This was a big creative change that means Bruce Prichard is overseeing both main roster shows. The shocking turn of events was especially unexpected for the USA Network.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that USA Network is “very unhappy” about the recent change in WWE. They understood the low ratings that WWE was getting, but Vince McMahon obviously made the call to pull Heyman.

“I mean as far as the two stations I know that USA was unhappy with the change — very unhappy by the way. I don’t think that they were happy with the ratings, but they understood the ratings. They were told this would be a building process and the understood that.”

USA Network might not be 100% behind the change in WWE, but it’s still happening anyway. This is a very interesting time in WWE history so we will just have to see what unexpected moment comes next.
