Adam Cole could be on his way out of WWE if he doesn’t sign a new WWE contract.
The current NXT Champion’s deal is set to run out in August according to Wrestling Inc. He has yet to sign a new contract as of this writing.
Cole has an NXT Title defense against Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Dream is under consideration for a main roster call-up very soon. That might mean Cole will hang onto his title for a little longer.
AEW seems like a logical place for Adam Cole if he leaves WWE. His girlfriend Britt Baker made it very clear that she would love to see him wrestling alongside the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega again soon.
